Please paste your resume here:
(html tags are allowed in these fields)

Please paste at least one sample review of about 600 words (published or unpublished), preferably of a folk-related nature. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation all count. Style counts the most -- we are looking for critics who match the style of Efolkmusic.org

.Please tell us about your background and interest in the folk scene (i.e. why should we pick you?).

If you would, please write one-sentence reviews of our listed musicians, records, or any folk-related event (pick a few, no more than 5, please). We're looking for a sense of your general tastes, your ability to succinctly explain why you do or do not like certain releases, the breadth of your folk knowledge, and whether you can follow instructions.

Optional Submissions:

We are very much interested in your own style and tastes- if you would, please give us a few more examples- you choose: your top ten folk music list for the most recent calendar year; tell us in general terms about some of your favorite musicians, events, historians, or folk politics, or whatever you think might interest us:

Questions? pinky@efolkmusic.org. We'll get back to you promptly.

Accepted critics/editors/reviewers/e-ziners receive the following in return:

- The opportunity to contribute on a regular basis and hear some great tunes, cover some great events, and meet some great people.
- Your name, bio, and photo on our E-zine Staff page.
- Your own @efolkmusic.org email address.
- The respect of your folkie peers.
- the possibilities of getting paid to do this
- An open-arms welcome into the e-folkmusic community of writers, editors,
and e-ziners.

We will review your application and get back to you. Only a very few applicants become regular contributors, so please don't be offended if you don't make the cut this time around. We encourage you to be persistent!

Thanks for your interest in efolkmusic!
