The song's title doesn't refer to me, or to anyone in particular for that matter. When I'm putting a song together I make little notes just to keep track of things. "Nice Guy" is my little pet name for the ascending chord progression that's first heard around the 0:34 mark. I don't know why, but that's the name I gave that little progression when making my notes. The name just kind of stuck in my head and found its way to the title of the song as a whole.

“Red Hills and Cotton" is laid-back and easy like a walk down a shady dirt road. Sounding like something Gram Parsons would have penned in his heyday, this tune recollects the rise and fall of the southern cotton industry in a nostalgic and deeply personal fashion.
"You are providing a great link to help people discover new artists and provide an alternative to the mass-produced junk we have presented to us on radio/TV etc. Well done and keep up the great work."- Eamon S
